SERIOUS ILLNESS & END-OF-LIFE

Support Through Serious Illness, Dying, and What Comes After

Maybe you're caring for someone through a serious illness and running out of capacity to hold it all. Maybe you're in the final hours or days with someone you love. Maybe a death has just happened and decisions are already being asked of you. Wherever you are in this, you don't have to carry it alone.

Ways We Can Help

You might be here for one of these, several, or something in between — each is offered on its own, shaped around what you actually need.

Serious illness support

steady, practical and emotional support alongside your medical team, including in-home, hospital, or hospice visits, companion care, caregiver relief, and space to think through what's ahead.

Active dying & vigil support

vigil sitting and bedside presence during active dying, holding space during withdrawal of life support, environment setting (lighting, sound, atmosphere) aligned with what your person wanted, and calm, comfort-based presence for both the person dying and the family around them — support for the hours and days when nothing else can wait.

After-death support

guidance with after-death care of the body, home funeral guidance, coordination with funeral homes, funeral and memorial planning, and follow-up support in the days immediately after — when decisions often have to be made before you feel ready to make them.

Grief & integration

ongoing grief and bereavement support, after-death emotional and spiritual support, and referrals to trusted community resources as you find footing in what comes next.

What Working Together Might Look Like

We usually start with a Discovery Call — a short, no-pressure conversation about what's going on and what kind of support might help. From there, we build a plan around your actual situation, whether that's a single visit, ongoing presence through an illness, or being there during active dying. If you're in the final hours or days with someone, or a death has just occurred, we understand there's often no time to wait — reach out directly, and we'll respond as quickly as we can.

What This Is Not

This support is non-clinical and non-therapeutic. It does not replace medical care, hospice services, mental health treatment, or licensed therapy — it exists alongside those systems, as a steady, informed presence through the experience.

A Few Common Questions

Do you work alongside hospice or my medical team?

Yes. This support is designed to complement your hospice, medical, and care team — not replace them.

What if I need help right away?

Reach out directly. If someone is actively dying or a death has just occurred, we'll do everything we can to respond quickly.

Is this only for the person who is ill or dying?

No — support is available for the person going through it and for the family and loved ones around them.
